La Baita della Mariotta is located in loc. Fodra at 1. 200 metres asl, 15 minutes by car (7 km) from the nearest village: Roncegno Terme. The hut is in a sunny position and is ideally located for mountain lovers: it is an excellent starting point for hiking or mountain bike tours on the Lagorai chain. It is also the ideal place for moments of relaxation and intimacy for two people, up to a maximum of 4 people. The property consists of two housing units. Nearby there are agritourism, that offer typical and genuine cuisine, and some mountain huts that sell dairy products at “km zero”. The hut is 40 km from Trento, the main town.
How to get there
The Mariotta hut can be reached following a paved mountain road with any car, all year round. In case of snow, the municipal vehicles regularly carry out the clearing.
The hut, built from an old barn of the early 1900s, is the result of a recent renovation. It develops on the first floor and is annexed to a flat and fenced garden, equipped with deck chairs and barbecue area. In the property there are two housing units.
The hut is equipped with a large masonry and marble kitchenette, with gas hob, wood-burning oven, fridge with freezer and dishwasher, a storage room and a washing machine. The master bedroom has a double bed and has a mountain view, while the second bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom is equipped with toilet, bidet, sink with mirror and shower.
In the living area there is a wood-burning stove with a small glass, with heating function and hob. Alternatively, it is possible to use autonomous heating, with radiators controlled by a thermostat in each room.
There is a private car park next to the garden.
Included in the price is the kitchen equipment, crockery, linen for the bedroom and bathroom, wood for the stove, hiking maps of the area.
