Baita Mas Ness

Description

Baita Mas Ness is located on the Pinè plateau, in a clearing in the middle of the woods on the slopes of Mount Costalta, at 1300 meters above sea level and enjoys a splendid view of the Brenta Dolomites. It is part of a larger farm with other units of different owners. In the past, the farm was used, during the summer, for the pasture of cattle and dates back to the second half of the 1800s.

How to get there

The hut can be reached from Trento exit A22 towards Padua. At about 5km detour to Baselga di Pine. It is about 25 km from Trento. Once in Baselga turn right towards Miola. Once you reach the ice stadium, you go up to Fovi where you take a mountain road that crosses the forest for about 3km, two of which are dirt road. The road is closed to traffic and is accessed with a special permit which will be provided to cars. For those coming from Valsugana to Pergine take the detour to Baselga di Pinè.

Initial part of an old mountain farm dating back to the second half of the 1800s, it has been completely renovated in wood and local stone and is furnished in a rustic style. On the ground floor there is a large living area with kitchenette, wood stove and Tyrolean ?mussa? a bathroom with shower and cellar. Upstairs, accessed by an internal staircase, there are two communicating rooms. The first is a mezzanine with small balcony, double bed and sofa. The second room is equipped with a double bed, a single bed and a half, a sofa and a separate exit. It is possible to add a cot for small children. Outside there is a fenced garden with parking space and barbecue.

The hut is equipped with fenced garden, parking space, barbecue, gazebo with table and chairs, umbrella, deck chairs and firewood for stoves. Electricity is produced with photovoltaic panels. 3 km away from Baselga di Pinè you will find supermarkets, restaurants, post office, bank, pharmacy. Nearby there are three lakes Serraia, Piazze and Brusago. At the lake of Piazze there is a beach for dogs. A few kilometers also an ice stadium, riding stable, alpine huts and mountain huts where you can taste the local products.

Seasonal opening from April to October. Weekly rental in July and August. Pets are allowed. The price includes: bed linen, bathroom and kitchen, gas, electricity, firewood and final cleaning.
