Baita Sissi

Description

This hut is located at 1680 m altitude above the village Roncegno in the middle of a vast private territory of about 20 000 qm. Not really isolated but in a very quiet and sunny position it's overlooking the valley of Sugana. It's the handy starting point for walks in the forest or excursions up to the surrounding tops with an altitude up to 2400 m.

How to get there

Coming from "Roncegno" take the provincal road no 65, just before "Ronchi" turn right following the indication for "Pozze", passing by the restaurant "Rifugio alle Pozze" and the "Rifugio Serot", after 2 km you find the hut on the right side. Coming from "Borgo Valsugana", pass through "Telve Valsugana" following the indication to "Torcegno" than into the direction of "Desene" and "Malga Trenca".

The hut has two floors and was recently restored. On the ground there is a spacious living-kitchen with open fire place as well as a bathroom with shower. In the attic room on the first floor are as your disposition 2 doublerooms each of them with an added bed and balcony and a marvellous panoramic view. A big green area is available also with private parking places.

Not far away two restaurants with typical local meals as well as two "Alm" with sale of own products. In Roncegno (10 km) supermarket, post-office, bank, chemist, restaurants, pizzeria, outdoor-pool, tennis-camp, golf practise course, archery. In Borgo Valsugana (15 km) hospital and on duty doctor. At the lake of Caldonazzo (20 km) surfing, water-skiing and sailing. The lake of Levico offers the possibility for swimming.
