A pearl in the green heart of the Lagorai. Located at 1450m a. s. l. in Località Pian Cavalli, in the municipality of Castello Tesino, Trentino.
It is located 3 km from Passo Brocon, 12 km from Canal San Bovo (Valle del Vanoi) and only 37 km from San Martino di Castrozza.
How to get there
It can be reached from Castello Tesino (TN) going towards Passo Brocon on the SP79 for about 20 km. At the church visible in the meadow on the left, turn right towards “Casa Alpina Castelfranco Veneto”, after the Casa Alpina turn right again and continue up to the hut.
The road to Passo Brocon SP79 to get to Baita Spésa is also possible in the opposite direction starting from Canal San Bovo (Valle del Vanoi – TN), driving for about 12 km.
Baita Spéssa is a part of a typical Trentino mountain building, made of stone and wood. The hut is equipped with a large green area with road access on a 300-metre dirt road. There are many places for excursions in the surrounding area.
