Baita Val Monte is located in the municipality of Castello Tesino (TN) in the locality of Celado, at 1250 m above sea level, a sinuous plateau of meadows and clumps of pine trees, with paths suitable for walks for adults and children as well as woods to find mushrooms.
The centre is 6 km away with all its services (pharmacy, grocery, bars, restaurants etc.)
A few steps from the hut is the astronomical observatory to discover the secrets of the sky (reservation is needed).
Golf courses, children’s adventure park, Tesino arboretum, the famous caves and the Broccon Pass with ski facilities in winter and a destination for walks among the alpine huts in summer are just a few km away.
How to get there
From Trento direction Padua up to Strigno along the SS47 of the Valsugana.
From Bassano del Grappa towards Valsugana until Strigno, follow signs for Castello Tesino, then for Celado and finally for astronomical observatory on the SP246.

Entering the hut you will find a large living room with fireplace equipped kitchen with wood stove and bathroom with shower, going up the stairs to the first floor there is a single bedroom, the so-called “Indian Room” with two beds and a double bedroom with small balcony.
Private parking with fenced garden and barbecue, deck chairs and umbrella for your moments of relaxation.
