16-2309/17 Grazie! Ero titubante prima di prenotare; volevo un posto più alto (altitudine), sofferente per il caldo fiorentino e invece vi ho ascoltato. Ho prenotato e mi sono trovata bene...benissimo! Siamo entusiaste mia madre ed io della vostra baita, del verde, dell'aria frizzantina del mattino e del calore della stufa ad ole. Questa valle, la sua storia, la sua tradizione culturale e i suoi boschi ci hanno dato quella carica che ci permette di affrontare caldo ed afa, casino e preoccupazioni che invece Firenze regala quotidianamente. Street Exit: Trento Centro, direction Pergine Valsugana. Take the road S.P. 8 until Mala then turn left toward Rifugio Capriolo. After two hairpin bends turn left and go on for 100 meters. Take the unpaved road for about 300 meters. The address is Maso Tomasei n. 2.

In the nearby area there are a supermarket, a bus station and a playground (in Mala). In Sant'Orsola (3 km) a butchery, the post office, a bank, a tennis field, a supermarket, a medical consultation centre are available. On Caldonazzo and Levico lakes (10 km) you can sunbathe on one of the public beaches and rent sail boats, kayaks and windsurf. In Baselga di Pinè there are the ice skating centre Ice Rink and the winter sport centre Palazzo del Ghiaccio. The Alpine Hut Tomasei is the perfect starting point for trekking tours in the heart of the Enchanting Valley (Mocheni Valley). In Pergine Valsugana (8km) there are the train station, an on duty medical service, an indoor swimming pool, a pharmacy and other services. During Christmas time it is easy to reach the Christmas markets in Trento, Bolzano and Levico Terme. Within one hour distance (by car) you can reach ski locations in Panarotta, Monte Bondone and Val di Fiemme.

The Alpine Hut Tomasei has been recently renovated using wood and stones and equipped with modern facilities. It is located at the beginning of Mocheni Valley nearby the village of Ala (S. Orsola). The hut can be reached thanks to an (partially) asphalted street. Around the hut there are 1500 meters of own field. The Hut Tomasei is the perfect place for families and groups of friends who love relaxing holidays surrounded by an untouched and idyllic nature. It is the perfect starting point for walking tours in the woods, trekking and mountain biking.
Electricity, water (cold and warm), gas, television, washing machine, private parking place, phone network are available. In the hut there are the kitchen with a stove and gas, the living room with a majolica stove, two bathroom with shower, a double room, two twin rooms (in one of these it is possible to add a third bed), barbecue equipment with firewood. A vegetable garden is available for guests.

The Alpine Hut Tomasei is open all year long. Please note that a minimum stay of 3 days (two nights) is required. The price includes water, electricity, gas, (bed) linen (with weekly change) and final cleaning. Pets are welcome but it must be previously arranged.
